The Enemy applies Spiritual Laws to your Confessing

Notice what God tells us. Signs don’t follow the individual, they follow the Word. Signs are confirming what the spoken Word has said. Signs are things that happen for us to see. I am making two solid points here.

First, we have to give the Lord His Word, spoken by us, for Him to be able to work with something. (We learned how that worked a few pages back.) Then that Word has to be confessed by us to work outside of us as well as in us. That is the process of faith.

Second, no matter what word we confess by speaking it, it has this spiritual principal to follow. Confessing is affirming something we believe out loud, for the invisible energies of God to work with. The substance of what is hoped for gets formed invisibly to appear physically. Now watch what happens.

In Mark 16, we are told that the Holy Spirit and the Father work only in conjunction with the Word. We must give them the Word in us to work with it in the earth; it’s our domain. Mark 16:15-20 says: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. (Mark 16:15-20)

Notice in this context the Lord confirmed the gospel Word that they “spoke.” Because that is how anything enters this atmosphere on earth. Notice that He didn’t do a thing until they spoke the Word. When the Word is confessed, the signs will take care of themselves.

Inadvertently, even when speaking the Word, we can get tradition and unbelief mixed in with it. The important point is in the believing, and thinking in line with God’s word, which is confessing: saying, affirming, and witnessing to what His word says that makes the difference. Your motive and intent are important. The greater clarity you speak with, the greater the signs that will follow what you say.

Now back to what I said earlier. The enemy counterfeits everything of God in the spirit realm. He takes his negative word you agree to speak and applies a spiritual principal of “whatsoever ye saith, ye shall believe, ye shall have.” He then works those words of your confession and signs appear that follow what you say. The enemy applies spiritual laws to your confessing.

What signs are following your words? We are ignorant of his devices, ways, and means. He is a legalist: he takes God’s principals and laws and works them for his evil intentions. The real trickery is that he has taught us to blame God for every bit of what is wrong about our lives because we are blinded to the truth by his dastardly thinking.
