Positive Thoughts = Increased Energy – Pt.2

What about non-productive thoughts? What kind of damage do they cause us, if any? That depends upon how emotionally charged with energy we make those thoughts. Emotions are the amplifier of our thoughts and how we perceive things in the world around us. We perceive thoughts that come into our mind according to beliefs we have built in previous situations.

Our head “reasons to know” but our heart “understands”. We see this in Scripture. Job 17:4 says, “For thou hast hid their heart from understanding.” Job 38:36 says, “Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?”

First Kings 4:29 says of King Solomon, “And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.” First Kings 3:12 says, “Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart.” Psalm 49:3 says, “My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.” Finally, Proverbs 15:14 says, “The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge:”

How we process things through our five physical senses affects what happens on the inside of us, and then on the outside of us. Your head won’t take you where your heart will go. Your mind isn’t big enough to wrap around what God is doing. Your heart will take you into revelation to renew your mind that your intellect won’t allow you to go. By learning to follow your heart instead of your head, allows you to come out of the experience with understanding.
