God’s Breath is His Voice

One last thing I want you to really see in relationship to the breath of God has the most to do with you personally. Go to Genesis 2 to understand what God really did when He created you and me. Talking about Adam, Genesis 2:7 says, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Job speaks about where he came from in Job 33:4, “The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” What brought Adam to life? The very breath of God did. But wait, that isn’t the only thing you should realize from this.

How was and is everything created by God? He spoke it into existence, right? His voice creates all things. Now let me ask, what did He put into man when He breathed into His nostrils? He put His voice into him. In the original Hebrew of the Torah, that word “breath” is “voice.” His voice is inside you.

You have the full capability to speak to your mountains and cause them to be moved. You have the full capacity to speak with the voice of God to your enemy. Now ask yourself, why would Satan be so interested in twisting the word of God in your head? Don’t you think it would be because of the potential you have for taking the word of the Lord and changing your life with it?

If you would speak life to your world from the Word, which comes from an accurate belief in who you were created to be by the Word, which comes from a renewing of the mind from the Word, which comes from a change of heart to become congruent with your mind, which all comes back to the beginning where you take captive every thought you choose to dwell upon on a daily basis and consider what you say because what you believe in your heart is what you say. Then you can turn your world around in ways beyond your current belief. You create all the time. It all starts with your thoughts and what you say.

This is why God has told us to bring heaven to earth, because we carry the voice of God in us. We are hooked up and have a connection that is a powerful threat to Satan and his kingdom.
